Construction works are performed by <\/strong><strong>a consortium established by KONTEK INT and NOBE who carry out the concreting works.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to Rauno Teder, a member of the Management Board of Porto Franco, the preparatory underground construction works have been completed, and from now on the development will continue with the basic structures of the building. \u2018The first 100 loads of concrete have been poured. The start of concreting works sends a clear message that the construction of the largest leisure centre in Tallinn moves in full gear ahead. Our wish is to take benefit of our unique location, to give the Tallinn\u2019s seafront region a new face,\u2019 Rauno Teder commented.<\/p>\n<p>Porto Franco is a unique property development project, which will open the Tallinn city centre up to the sea, being the only commercial and leisure area at the seafront. A total of 160 million euros will be invested into the Porto Franco development.<\/p>\n<p>The total area of the retail premises in Porto Franco is 35,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>, the area of the office premises will reach 31,700 m<sup>2<\/sup>, and the centre will feature 1,170 underground parking spaces. The shareholders of Porto Franco are businesses based on Estonian capital.<\/p>\n<p>The authors of the architectural solution of Porto Franco are Estonian architects Mihkel T\u00fc\u00fcr and Ott Kadarik of the architectural bureau Kadarik, T\u00fc\u00fcr. Arhitektid. The authorship of the concept of Porto Franco belongs to Tom Klingholz from the London-based international architectural bureau Chapman Taylor.
